The event was accompanied by awesome swag bags filled with goodies and a table full of complimentary beverages, snacks and drinks. I am so glad I went, and I look forward to all the newest projects and products coming soon from Moorea Seal

I'm feeling 22, the surreal spring of 2016

I don't know about you, but I recently turned 22!.. and I already feel old. Yet, I haven't accomplished everything I had hoped to accomplish at such a daunting "adult" age. I don't think I'm  "adulting" right. I'm quite scared of adolescence, because I feel like what I thought would happen isn't happening/has happened, and many things that have happened shouldn't have happened?? That was probably confusing,.. just like how everything is right now! A lot of things are surreal to me, but I'm going to ride it out and enjoy as much of it as I can. I'm only getting older and at an exponentially increasing rate, so it seems.

One of my favorite song lyrics from my tween stages that has always remained memorable and weighed heavy on my heart is:

"[The] World's spinning round, there's no sign of slowing down, so won't you take a breath? Just take a breath.

People change and promises are broken. Clouds can move and skies will be wide open. Don't forget to take a breath."

And doing this photo shoot has only reminded me how the weight of these words haven't changed, even now that I'm 22.

I look forward to the many memories, adventures, progresses, and events that will happen this summer and through out the rest of 2016. I'll be going on a month long personal trip overseas this summer and will definitely make a blog post about the trip afterwards! I am also working on a personal project, (which I hope to complete and finish by the new year), along with volunteering and doing social media work for a fashion organization.

I'll keep you guys posted on updates and also on big adventures or events that I'll be attending in the not too distant future. I hope all of you are doing well, and for my fellow Seattleites, I hope you guys are enjoying the constant sunshine that Seattle has been getting!

Stay Cool guys! ;)

It's already April, yet it feels like summer

Walking through a Hall of Trees

"Are we out of the woods?"

"Are we in the clear yet?"

"An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backwards" in order to go forwards

Blossom and Bloom

Summery Spring

Sodo Fashion show & market

Besides volunteering two days at Sakura Con 2016, I also went to the Sodo Fashion Show & Market recently! More pics for that event here:

The event was fun and the fashion was "on fleek." I thought the collections were fabulous and also the different vendors for the market! There was a stand for coffee, Italian baked sweets, cute home decor, locally-based clothing lines, locally-made jewelry, and others! I'm looking forward to more and upcoming fashion events, especially during Seattle's Spring time. I'll keep you guys posted and update you guys on these events soon. :)

In the meantime, here are a couple of recent fashion and outfit photos for some spring street style in Seattle/Bellevue!

Keep in touch and stay tuned for more! <3

Good Vibes, only, always: veggie sandwich from Meat & Bread, Zico coconut water punch, & Fonte coffee

First off, sorry it's been awhile! I've been busy going to networking events, re-adjusting to figuring certain career changes, and just.. LIFE!? Sorry if that sounds so basic and cliche but, yea, life totally happens and gets in the way!

So anyways, here are the pics from some of the fashion and networking events that I've gone to recently. The first few pics are from the Seattle Fashion Designer Expose night and the pics after the inspirational fashion reads pic are from this past weekend's Stylish in Seattle blogger panel and conference.

In detail, the Seattle Fashion Designer Expose night was to showcase previews of some of the collection pieces that will be shown at Seattle Fashion Week, sort of like a premiere party mixed with a networking night. There were vendor booths throughout the event place and complimentary treats, such as mini bundt cupcakes, Suja bottled juice, coconut water, and more! You could even get your hair blown or curled by one of Seattle's prominent salons at the hair styling booth. If you were hungry, they offered food to be purchased and you could also have your picture taken by one of the many photographers at the event with music bumping in the background! It was a fun night of chatting, socializing, and checking out what's to come in Seattle Fashion Week!

For the Stylish in Seattle blogger conference, I had a blast getting to meet and converse with such inspiring ladies and fellow bloggers. It was great to hear and receive advice from successful and empowering women who have made it to where they are from all their hard work. There was a lot of support and encouragement from the panelist speakers for us, which I think is awesome and what we truly need. The complimentary sandwiches from Meat & Bread, breakfast pastries and coffee from Fonte Coffee Roasters, cupcakes, vegan coconut cocoa balls from Jujubeet, and Zico coconut water were all fantastic. There were swag bags and magazines given out, and also tons of picture taking for the event! I thoroughly enjoyed this event and I hope to go to more events like this in the future!

As I continue to explore, consider, and contemplate blogging and whether or not I would like to invest more time into making it a full time career, I think with anything it also takes time overall for growth and development; even if you decide to put all your time and efforts into it suddenly, and at once. As the year continues to rapidly progress, since I'm balancing and juggling multiple things at once, I will gradually develop and invest more time or idealization efforts into this blog and my blogging brand throughout the next couple of years. I am still consistently posting throughout my social media channels, and I will continue to do so for as long as I have the desire to. But I have a lot to figure out, and for me, I started my blogging brand, my blog, and other social media forums as a way to relieve stress and to share my personal, fun experiences or excursions as an escape from the hardships of life.

I will work and try harder to make something I genuinely enjoy to become my career and to reach other goals and dreams. I know this post might be longer and lengthier than usual, but I really wanted to take the time and convey to you guys, or be honest about my blog and also about where I am currently. I'm gonna take certain jumps and risks, but also I will see where life takes me. But no matter where life does take me, you awesome people and my lovely supporters will be the first to know! I hope you all are enjoying spring so far and also are doing well. Love you guys and I'll keep you guys posted on updates soon! (I'm going to Sakura-con and the Sodo Fashion Show this weekend :D *insert gleeful giggling emoji* !!)

In the meantime, keep in touch! You know where to find me. <3

Spring 2016 Self Metamorphosis Photoshoot in Seattle

I did this photo shoot this past Friday with a good friend of mine, and I just gotta say I am happy with the way the pics turned out! The places we went to were cool as well and we were able to adventure and explore a lot, which was great, because I am always down to explore new places and I love adventuring! Anyways, more new exciting adventures and events to be documented coming soon. I'm going to a fashion show this Thursday and then an art event for the art museum this weekend. I might even go on a mini road trip as well! I hope you all are doing well, and keep in touch!

All the photos are his and editing is done by him as well, feel free to check out his Flickr! Oh, and Happy Monday! :)
