Coming Soon: new businesses opening up, growth & development

This post is to share my excitement for progress and advancement in my hometown, Bellevue, and also my other favorite city, the neighboring Seattle. There is a lot of construction going on in both cities. New, modern, and innovative buildings are being built for offices, retail, and apartments in both cities.

Slowly but steadily, popular international retailers are finally opening stores in the Puget Sound such as Zara and Uniqlo. Talks of Aesop the renowned Australian skincare brand and Dutch clothing line, G Star Raw, are also planning on setting up shop sometime soon in Seattle. Local and new restaurants, boutiques, and housing are popping up everywhere. There truly is always room for growth.

According to the downtown Bellevue news network, years down the road a station for the monorail will be built in downtown Bellevue connecting to Seattle and making it easier for people to travel from the East side to Seattle.

The economic expansion and business growth in the Puget Sound is exciting to spectate. I can't wait to see the improvement and change. I hope for the same improvement and change to keep on happening with my own personal life. I'll make sure to update you guys in what's going on with me and some of my future goals. I will also write a post on why this blog even exists. Until next time then my friends!

Keep in touch!

Different settings and views yet all are meaningful to me

Couple of "Homey" Pictures

The first picture is of downtown Bellevue my home and city that I grew up in. It has a beautiful skyline and beautiful buildings. The second photo is of a beautiful sunset I witnessed while waiting to cross the U.S.-Canadian border. The last photo is of the Seattle Waterfront with the Ferris Wheel at the pier.

Sunsets, Seattle, & Bellevue are all a part of me. Sunsets are always beautiful to behold and witness. I am always awed every time I get to catch a glimpse of a Pacific Northwest sunset. Sunsets are one of the little things that I love and appreciate the most. I am grateful that I get to see beautiful sunsets in the two cities that I hold dear to my heart and my homes. The Eastside and Bellevue is where I grew up yet Seattle is my playground. The best of both worlds!

Tumbling Down the Rabbit Hole to Wonderland

Nature Rorschach- Final Project Series

There are patterns, symmetry, tessellation, and hidden faces/shapes in nature. I love going to botanical gardens to find peace and serenity for the mind. With this, I was inspired by Rorschach images and chose to take this route as my theme for my final project for my Image and Imagination class. The idea of free, personal interpretation and creativity our minds experiment with is fascinating, even if it was just a blank sheet of paper with randomly painted black spots on it. Also, the mental and visual interaction that these images bring to the viewer is something that's playful, trippy, and tugs on your brain. Mind Blown!

Chocolate Treasure Toast Box @ Hard Wok Cafe: Chinatown

Cacti Greenhouse @ Volunteer Park Conservatory: Capitol Hill

Some pics of what I've been up to in the #pnw (Pacific Northwest), mostly in Seatown (Seattle). From CapHill (Capitol Hill)  to the ID (International District/Chinatown) to U District (University District/ University Way and surrounding the University of Washington Seattle campus). Mostly foodporn but nonetheless I threw other artsy pics of objects that I've been able to observe and admire all the same. I always love exploring and discovering new places/food spots. Adventure is out there!

The Countdown Begins

HAPPY HOLIDAYS! :)
The countdown til Christmas for me and going to New York starts now!
I took these at the botanical gardens near my home and my favorite city! They created these figures out of lights and created a lights garden.

Until then,
